Application Terms of Service

Terms for the Alido application and the business services agreed with you.

Provider and acceptance

Alido is operated by Vincent Messina, an individual based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. These terms concern the Alido application and the services agreed with a business. They take effect for a business only when its authorized representative accepts them as part of the service agreement. Merely visiting the website or booking a demo does not create a paid subscription. The agreed service offer identifies the business, service scope and commercial terms. Questions: hello@goalido.com. Privacy: privacy@goalido.com.

Services and control

Alido helps service businesses manage enquiries and conversations, prepare or send permitted replies and arrange appointments through supported connections. Availability depends on the agreed features, provider access and the business’s enabled settings. Connecting a service does not by itself activate every feature or authorize customer outreach. The business remains responsible for the services it sells to its customers, the facts and instructions it supplies and decisions reserved to its team. Alido remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law and the agreement.

Accounts and authorized users

The business must name an authorized account owner, grant team members only the access they need and keep access information secure. Users must not share passwords, authentication codes or access tokens in support requests or conversations. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. An account may not be used to access another business’s information without authority. Changes affecting real customer sending or sensitive account settings remain subject to the applicable authorization controls.

Customer information and messaging

The business must have the authority needed to provide information and instructions to Alido, give required notices and obtain any consent required for its messages and processing. It must respect opt-outs and other requests, supply accurate business facts and not use Alido for unlawful, deceptive, abusive or unsolicited activity. Alido’s controls do not replace the business’s legal duties; nor does this clause remove Alido’s own duties. Do not submit information unnecessary for the agreed service. Healthcare, emergency-response or other specially regulated use requires a separate suitability and agreement review before it is accepted.

Content, permitted processing and ownership

The business retains its rights in the content it provides. It authorizes Alido to access and process that content only to perform the agreed service and any other purpose separately and lawfully authorized. These terms grant no unrestricted right to sell customer content, use it for advertising or train general-purpose models. Alido retains its rights in its software, brand and service materials; the business receives permission to use the agreed service during the agreement. Third-party rights remain with their owners.

Privacy, providers and AI

Our privacy notice explains the personal information used, purposes, providers, processing locations, request contact and relevant choices: https://goalido.com/en/privacy/. Enabled connections can involve AWS, AI models through Amazon Bedrock, Quo, Meta, Google, scheduling or billing providers as described in the applicable notice. Some processing occurs outside Québec or Canada, including US AI processing. Each provider has its own role and terms; a connection does not grant Alido permission for an unrelated data use. A customer processing agreement must record the applicable instructions and safeguards where required. Posting these terms does not establish that such an agreement has been accepted.

AI limitations and review

AI may produce incomplete or incorrect content. The business should keep approved facts and instructions current, supervise the features it enables and use the available human handoff and review controls. Alido does not guarantee a particular number of enquiries, bookings, sales, revenue or uninterrupted availability. These statements do not exclude duties, remedies or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A draft, provider acceptance, delivery receipt and confirmed appointment are different outcomes; none should be represented as another.

Fees, trials and billing

Any price, currency, tax treatment, trial start and end, billable event, renewal, cancellation rule and payment timing must be stated in the service offer accepted before the relevant service or charge begins. The website’s introductory offer is subject to the specific booking fee and terms agreed with the business. Do not infer a fee, automatic renewal or payment authority from a demo or from a payment-link illustration. Changes to an existing commercial arrangement follow that agreement and applicable law.

Requests, export and end-of-service data

A person or authorized representative may send privacy requests to privacy@goalido.com without opening another account. Alido may seek limited evidence needed to verify identity or authority. Requests involving data controlled by a business are coordinated with that business while preserving Alido’s own duties. The response must distinguish access, correction, eligible portability, deletion and any lawful limits. The agreed end-of-service arrangements must specify the practical return/export and deletion process, justified retention and provider/backup handling. Disconnecting a service, stopping future learning or hiding a record does not erase all copies. These terms promise no universal erasure period or automatic whole-account deletion feature. See https://goalido.com/en/data-deletion/.

Suspension and ending service

The business may request cancellation or account closure at hello@goalido.com. Its effective date, any remaining properly incurred charges, export arrangements and applicable refunds follow the accepted service offer and mandatory law. Alido may restrict a feature or access where reasonably necessary to address security, unlawful activity, a serious breach of the agreement or loss of required provider access. Where lawful and practicable, we give the business the reason and a way to resolve the issue. Suspension does not create an unlimited right to retain data or remove privacy rights.

Changes, law and protected rights

We explain material changes to these terms and their effective date before applying them where required. Changes to an accepted agreement follow that agreement and applicable law; posting a revised page alone does not provide consent for a new data purpose. Québec law and applicable Canadian federal law govern, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules that apply to the parties. Nothing here requires arbitration, waives protected rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional allocation of risk must be expressly agreed and valid under applicable law.

Language and contact

The French and English versions are supplied together for review. Where French-language contracting rules apply, the French version must be provided before any valid express choice to contract in another language.
